February through April 2010
The last few months have been super busy with horses competing in several different states and then just good old fashion life. We have been blessed with wonderful weather at the competitions since February and that makes for extra special good times. A couple of our riders have had some top finishes and others finished in the top 10. For some, just finishing with a score was a huge accomplishment.
The youngest member of Pharview went to her first hunter show last month and pulled out a Grand Champion. Yeeha! That was very cute.
Somehow, we brought home an extra horse from Texas Rose event back in March. A friend up there insisted that we have her and we are to finish her training. Chloe jumps around courses nicely and just needs some finishing touches before she heads home. She is a childs mount and will be a lovely one in a couple more months.
We have sold our beloved friend, Kobe, aka Bally Whatnot, and he is in San Antonio with a lovely young rider. Kobe proved to be such the young rider packer type, that we just could not pass up that market. He has already done his first event with his new owner and placed 2nd. Go Kobe!
A couple of us headed down to Ocala to compete and to pick up the new member of our family, 'Libby' aka Landmark's Miss Liberty. We also had the opportunity to send off our friends of OCET as they head to Rolex in Kentucky. They are there by now and on fire to have a great week. We wish the whole team good luck. Go get em Karen and Lauren.
